The Board of Directors and Executive Director of Western Tidewater Free Clinic (WTFC) is pleased to announce Jessica York as the new Director of Development. Jessica brings a wealth of experience making her uniquely qualified for this role. As a resident of Isle of Wight County, Jessica is enthusiastic about building strong relationships within the local community and regionally. Jessica’s expertise in healthcare, donor stewardship and cultivation, and volunteerism positions her for success in her new position at the Clinic.

 Jessica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  Prior to joining WTFC, Jessica served as the Executive Director of Meals on Wheels and served as the Western Tidewater Care Coordination Supervisor for Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia. She has over 25 years of experience in the human services field as a leader, fundraiser, outreach specialist and social worker.

 Executive Director Ashley Greene said, “We are thrilled to welcome Jessica to our Clinic team. We know she is committed to our mission and vision, has a heart for those we serve and will strengthen the Clinic’s community partnerships for a successful future.”

 As a Clinic team member, Jessica will support the critical work of the Clinic staff and volunteers who provide comprehensive healthcare to about 1,500 distinct patients per year at WTFC. These patients are seen in more than 11,000 visits including medical, dental, mental health, women’s health and pharmacy appointments. Jessica shared, “I’m honored to join this amazing group of community servants and look forward to making a positive impact in Western Tidewater.”
