Western Tidewater Free Clinic’s
Volunteers are the Lifeblood of the Clinic
Without our volunteers, the Clinic would not exist.
WTFC averages about 150 volunteers during the year. Their hours equate to about 3.5 Full Time employees! The cost savings from these donated hours and other gifts allows WTFC to stretch each donated dollar into over $7 in services. Since opening in 2007, over 139,000 hours have been donated to WTFC, with a value of over $4.3 million.

“Our volunteer’s efforts are the single most discriminating difference at the Clinic. Lives are changed – those that receive find hope when it was lost, and those that give find renewed purpose in life.”
